of local bands and a book drive.

Project Goal: To conduct research and prepare a presentation about tardigrades (microscopic
organisms, aka “waterbears”) that can survive extreme environmental conditions.

inquiry. Students will capture images, create short skits, and record short pieces that can be
infused into Windows Movie Maker.

Project Goal: To purchase sets of education and thought-provoking games (Quiddler and Wood
Brain Teasers in a Tin) for every GATE classroom in the district.

Project Goal: Students will conduct research and compare the contributions of ancient
civilizations with examples in their community. Students will use photo journalism to create
posters and a short newspaper article documenting their results.
