ESS – Wednesday 26th November 2015
I will get you to present on your respective soil conservation techniques next lesson. Please keep your
notes / presentations safe.
Syllabus: Evaluate soil management strategies in a named commercial farming system and
in a named subsistence farming system.
For these examples, you will use the Sahel region (subsistence farming), The North American Prairies
(commercial farming) and Tasikoki (sustainable commercial farming).
The command term is EVALUATE, so you will need to outline and explain the successes and failures of
both examples and the strategies they employ.
This can be written as a table of information, or as a full paragraph. I will collect it from you during our
next lesson together.
