ENGINEERING TIME! With Emmanuel and Matt Last Week: Materials Egg Drop PARACHUTES Parachutes make things fall slower. They catch the air and let people fall safely. BUT HOW..? MATERIALS Parachutes have to be very light in order to work. We have to choose a light material to make the parachute out of. SURFACE AREA Surface Area is the amount of area on the outside of an object Dimes have a small surface area Umbrellas have a large surface area Now we have a problem for you!!
