N.R. di Nannini was established in 1977 and
operated in wholesale trade of single-use
sterilized sanitary material, diagnostic reagents
and specialized equipment.
Since its foundation, company growth has been
constant and has been facilitated by a series
of successful moves to anticipate the market,
particularly early recognition of the fact that
future of preanalytic laboratory practices would
lie in haematic vacuum-sealed blood samples.
From its headquarters in Lucca, the company is

MEDICAL AND SURGICAL SYSTEM
N.R. is able to provide all kinds of medical
products. Particular attention is paid to
medical devices equipped with SECURITY
mechanisms, products that focus on the
protection of health workers per European
Directive 201/32/EU, which requires all
health organizations to implement security
standards to prevent injuries caused by
cuts or pricks. The range of solutions and
products is wide and complete: traditional
and safety hypodermic needles, syringes,
special syringes, pre-filled catheter
syringes, containers to collect or dispose
of needles, syringes, and sharp objects.

VACUUM-SEALED BLOOD SAMPLE
N.R. is the proud to offer advanced
systems for gathering, treating and
conserving biological samples, particularly
blood samples, destined for laboratory
diagnosis. Systems for sampling, treatment
and conservation of venous blood samples
comprises 3 fundamental components:

Vacuum-sealed phials, internally
sterile and with pre-labelled and
precalibrated aspiration. The range
of phials includes those with and
without additives, in reinforced glass
or in polyethylene terephthalate (PET),
according to the analytic needs of the
laboratory, also available in a new line of
products dedicated to diagnosis based
on Molecular and Proteomic Biology
methods. Phials are equipped with a
safety cap in order to drastically reduce
exposure to biological risks both at the
moment of drawing the sample and during
treatment of haematic samples, allowing
health workers to operate with maximum
safety. Various versions of the phials
offered, which are differentiated by their
technical and applicative advantages, are
all compatible with the line of products for
accessing veins and with the accessories
that complete the sample drawing system,
thus guaranteeing the best safety and
operating quality.

Sterile tools for accessing veins:
needles and sample drawing sets,
adaptors for epicranial needles. All tools,
packaged singly, are classified in relation
to their external diameter measured in
Gauge (G). The broad range allows for the

Flow cytofluorometry is an instrument

transfusion services, and haematology
laboratories, where it is used to monitor
HIV patients, for immune disorders, for
oncological diagnosis, and for operations
linked to transfusion medicine.
In addition to the traditional and reliable
BD FACS flow cytometry systems
(fluorescence activated cell sorting),
innovative products have recently been
developed, constantly improving the
technological response to the needs
of the clinical and research world.
These instruments include for analysis
devices and cell sorters, including digital
instruments like the BD LSR Fortessa, the
BD FACSAria, the BD FACSCanto, and the
BD FACSVerse.
These devices are able to provide a
multiparametric interpretation of up
to 40 channels of fluorescence. Also
recently acquired is the BD Accuri
C6 cytofluorometre, which analyses
4 fluorescences, is simple to use and
versatile in its applications. The BD sorter
is also improved with the FACSJazz: an
entry-level cellular separation system that
is simple to use.
