Rocks
Sedimentary rocks are fun to share.
Sandstone and Limestone make a good pair.
Conglomerate and Shale must not be left out.
Grainy, layered rocks are fun to shout about.
Rocks may get hot and melt into magma.
Magma may cool - an igneous rock you now have-a.
Diorite and Granite underground may hide.
While Basalt, Obsidian, and Pumice cool outside.
Metamorphic rocks were created from heat and pressure.
These may be layered, fun to see, and measure.
Quartzite, Marble, Gneiss, and Schist.
Make our rock collection hard to resist..
Now I've shared are rock types and samples too.
