Regional Expansion Criteria and Benefits Task Force (RECBTF)
CHARTER
Mission Statement:
The Regional Expansion Criteria and Benefits Task Force (RECBTF) is the forum for
stakeholders to discuss existing or proposed criteria and cost allocation policies for regional and
interregional cost shared transmission projects.
Sunset Provisions (Entities are subject to an annual review per Section V(H)):
The task force will remain in place through April 2015. The Advisory Committee will determine if
need still exists for this task force after that time.
Expected Meeting Time & Frequency:
It is expected that the task force will meet approximately monthly. The meetings will generally be
scheduled from 9 am to 3 pm. Meetings will take place at the MISO offices. Call-in and WebEx
capability will be provided to enable stakeholders to participate remotely.
Quorum Requirements (if any):
Meetings will be open to all stakeholders and there will be no quorum requirement.
Voting
The RECBTF will vote in accordance with the Stakeholder Governance Guide, and will be limited
to one vote per eligible voting member.
Requested Subject Matter Experts:
The task force will utilize the knowledge and experience of MISO staff and representatives
from stakeholder sectors in the development of optimal solutions to the issues in focus.
Stakeholder participants are requested from all areas of expertise, including those participants
with expertise in planning, markets and ratemaking.
Reports To:
The RECB Task Force will report to the Advisory Committee.
