Summary
• Decision Trees can be a powerfull tool when trying to find
relationships in messy data.
• They can handle continuous and categorical input
paramters and responses.
• Does not care about missing data.
• They can handle any number of input parameters (𝑛 ≤ 𝑝).
• Adding (two-factor) interactions to a decision tree might
provide smaller trees that are easier to interpret.
• Decision trees including interactions might even be the
better prediction models.
