and installers do not need solar power system expertise to install a
solar power cabinet with properly sized and compatible components
for optimal performance.
• Power AC or DC loads. P-Box configurations supply AC or DC
power up to 10.5kW.
• Power wireless communications and remote site applications.
Operate wireless repeater stations and nodes, sensing and monitoring
instruments and charge batteries at remote sites.
• Data integration for system monitoring. Data from the P-Box
can be integrated into a solar power health monitoring and
management system.

Backup to unreliable grid power. P-Box with optional AC Power
Supply can be used in grid-tie applications. During outages, the
PV array can charge the batteries to provide a continuous supply
of energy.
Phocos Modular Control Unit
Customize operations and manage components with our
easy-to-use MCU, such as synchronizing multiple MPPT
charge controllers in our “Flex” models. The MCU logs
important system data that can be extracted onsite or
remotely with optional modem accessory.
Optional AC Power Supply for Grid Backup
Optional AC power supply can be added for
charging batteries and powering AC loads where
grid power is available but unreliable. PV can
charge the batteries to provide a continuous
supply of energy during grid outages. When
solar conditions are not optimal, AC can provide
backup power to PV.
P-Box AC model with one pure sine wave inverter is shown.
DC models and AC/DC configurations are also available.
Optional Automatic Change-Over Relay
Optional automatic change-over relay ensures
constant power to critical loads by switching
to battery backup within milliseconds of a grid
outage and automatically switching back to grid
power when service has been restored.
Optional E-Box with Battery Storage
All P-Box models are available with enclosures with space for adding
a variety of battery storage solutions. Make your P-Box an “E-Box” by
