Module: Entrepreneurship 10 cu
Studies included in the module:
 Entrepreneriual Attitude and Profitable Business Operations 6 cu
 On-the-job Learning in Practice Enterprise 4 cu
Study: Entrepreneurial Attitude and Profitable Business Operations 6 cu
Objectives:
The student deepens his/her knowledge and know-how by working in a
practise enterprise as if he/she was working in a real enterprise. The student
develops his/her understanding of both intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship
and learns how to make their business a profitable venture.
The student plans, carries out and documents work assignments that are
related to entrepreneurial financial management, marketing and law. The
student participates in all assignments related to business operations and
gets an overall picture of entrepreneurship. The student utilises in his/her
activities, among other things, the Internet and Econet Pro, a financial
management software.
The student learns to work as a team in different customer service situations
both with internal and external customers. The practice enterprise operates in
a network consisting of hundreds of both domestic and foreign practise
enterprises.

 establishing a business

On-the-job-learning in a practice enterprise 4 cu
 all business operations and entrepreneurship assignments are carried
out in a practice enterprise environment
Implementation:
 entrepreneurship is the leading thought in all activity
 we work in a practice enterprise and the fair project includes a visit to
a fair
 the exercises, assignments and production are related to the practice
enterprise
Requirements for completion:
 active participation in both the practice enterprise activity and the fair
project, in which all of the students have their own roles and own
assignments
 completing given assignments and reports
 a written self assessment, in which the student assesses his/her own
activity and the activity of the enterprise. On the basis of the self
assessment a assessment discussion is held with the supervising
teacher

 defines and reports, in co-operation with the team, the business
possibility (operational possibilities) for the enterprise that is being
established.
 chooses, in co-operation with the team, a company form and
formulates the charter of foundation

Assessment of both the possibility of productification1 and the playing field for
business
 utilises in the productification process, in co-operation with the team,
possibilities offered for entrepreneurship in one's own field or in
another fields
 utilises information available in different networks
 find outs, in co-operation with the team, companies operating in the
industry and retrieves information about working as a entrepreneur in
the industry
 follows, in co-operation with the team, both the development and the
development view of the industry (regarding entrepreneurship)
 assesses independently his/her own possibilities to work as an
entrepreneur in the industry and sets up development goals for him/herself
