Check the vitals of the patient every hourly along with date and time (B.P.Pulse
respiration and temperature.
Collection of specimens
Management of intravenous fluids and inotripics.
Administration of medication in time (E.g OD, BID, TID, QID, state Etc…)
Monitoring of C.V.P with C.V.P. Scale
Hot & cold application
Personal hygiene (Nail care & Hair Cars Bowel & Bladder care
Maintenance of physical, social, psychological, spirituals and rehabilitative needs
of patients.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisted and can able to do the procedures C.P.R., D.C. shock, N.G. Tube,
I.V.Cannulation, Peritoneal dialysis , catheterization , Blood Transfusion, Nebulization,
steam inhalation , V.V.P. Monitoring , dressing, collection of samples including A.B.G.,
Oxygen adiminstartion.
Assist doctors in various procedures like Angiogram, Angioplasty and stenting, B.M.V,
P.D.A. Closure,A.S.D Closure,V.S.D Closure ,PPI,TPI , Right & left heart study ,
pericardial tapping, IABP,I.V.C.Filter DSA .Cerebral embolization and coiling.
Assist the doctors in emergency cardiac care.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES IN WARD MANAGEMENT.
Maintaining the drugs suppliers as per standing orders.
Maintaining the equipments in working condition.
Maintaining emergency drugs, equipment at accessible place securely.
Maintaining the reports & records of the patient up to date.
