Official Rules
Eligibility
The Arizona Lottery/Safeway Cardinals Caravan Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to residents of
Arizona age 21 or older. The following persons are not eligible to participate: Employees, contractors,
directors, commissioners, and officers of the Arizona Lottery, Arizona Cardinals Football Club LLC
(“Cardinals”); New Cardinals Stadium, LLC and Safeway Inc. and their respective affiliates, or any
company involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Promotion
(collectively, “Promotion Parties”) and their respective immediate family members. “Immediate family
members” means spouses, parents/guardians and children.
Entry
For each $5 purchase of Arizona Lottery tickets purchased at each event, the participant will receive an
entry form for the Grand Prize Drawing. Each participant will also receive the opportunity to spin a
wheel for a chance to win one (1) of the secondary prizes listed below, so long as supplies last. All
giveaway entries become the property of the Promotion Parties and may be used for marketing and
solicitation purposes.
Prizes
With respect to each drawing, one (1) winner will be randomly selected from all entries received per
event day and will receive a grand prize which consists of the following: Two (2) Lower Level tickets to a
2013 Cardinals regular season home game (exact game to be determined by Cardinals), two (2) PreGame Field Passes, two (2) Pre-Game VIP Passes, a one-night stay at a Phoenix area hotel (double
occupancy) and a $100 gas card. Approximate retail value of each prize: $500. Additionally, each
participant at each event date designated below will receive the opportunity to spin a wheel to win a
secondary prize including, but not limited to: Cardinals gift bag or a Cardinals/Arizona Lottery cobranded hat.
Taxes and Expenses
Winners are responsible for any local, state and federal taxes. Any additional expenses incident to any
prize are the responsibility of each respective winner. Transportation is not included.

Drawing
DRAWINGS: One (1) random grand prize drawing will be conducted on each of the four (4) drawing
dates identified below (four grand prize drawings in total). At each drawing, one (1) grand prize winner
will be selected via a random drawing from all eligible entries received at that remote event. Each
random drawing will be conducted by the Cardinals, whose decisions will be final, binding and
conclusive in all matters relating to the Promotion. Each drawing will be conducted at a location to be
determined by the Cardinals.

Odds of Winning
Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received in the drawing. Limit one
prize per family/household.
Notification
Grand Prize Winners will be notified by telephone or email if a telephone number is not available. If a
drawn winner does not respond to telephone call or sent email within 72 hours, an alternate winner will
be drawn. If game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, winner will not be reimbursed.
Disclaimer
The Promotion Parties are not responsible for inaccurate entry information or for lost, misdirected, late,
incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries, whether caused by participant or by any of the equipment
or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion, or by any technical or human error that
may occur in the processing of entries. Mechanically reproduced entries are not permitted and will be
deemed void. There is no maximum of entries per person. Each entrant will receive entry forms for the
Grand Prize drawing based on number of $5 purchases he/she makes, but each entrant will receive no
more than two (2) chances to spin the wheel to win prizes. Illegible/incomplete entries are void.
Entrants without proper address and those who have opted to not be contacted by the Promotion
Parties for any reason will be excluded from the drawing. No prize substitution, cash equivalent, or
transfer of prize by winner in violation of these rules and regulations is permitted. The Cardinals
reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. The Arizona Lottery Safeway Remote
Event Promotional prizes and conduct of the Promotion are provided under A.R.S. § 5-554(C) order of
the Arizona Lottery Commission. Prize acceptance constitutes acceptance of prize conditions and
permission to use winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising/publicity purposes without further
compensation, unless prohibited by law. Should a prizewinner make any false statement in connection
with this Promotion, the winner will be required to promptly return to the Cardinals, upon demand, the
prize.
General Conditions:
Promotion Parties reserve the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if
any fire, flood, earthquake, epidemic, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of public enemy, equipment
failure, riot or civil disturbance, war or other military action, terrorist threat or activity, government
order, fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Promotion Parties’ reasonable control
(including any labor dispute affecting the National Football League) (a “Force Majeure Event”) impairs
the integrity, feasibility or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Cardinals in its sole
discretion. The Cardinals reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to
be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of
these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt
by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation
of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, The Cardinals reserve the right to seek
damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Cardinals’ failure to enforce
any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Promotion, entrants release the Promotion Parties and their respective officers,
directors, commissioners, employees, agents and affiliates from any and all claims, damages or liabilities
arising from or relating to such entrant's participation in the Promotion. By accepting a prize, (a) entrant
agrees that the Promotion Parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless
against, any liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons or property resulting in whole
or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Promotion; from acceptance, possession,
misuse or use of any prize, and Promotion Parties are not liable in the event that any portion of the
Promotion or prize is canceled due to any Force Majeure Event.
Additional Terms
The Promotion Parties reserve the right to modify these rules without materially affecting the terms and
conditions of the Promotion. The Cardinals reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify,
terminate, or suspend this Promotion should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other
causes beyond the Cardinals’ control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the
Promotion. The Promotion Parties are not responsible for any human error that may occur in the
processing of the entries, nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect,
delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized
access to, or alteration of, entries, whether caused by the sender or any of the equipment or
programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion. The Cardinals reserve the right, in their sole
discretion, to disqualify any individual found to have tampered with the entry process or the operation
of the Promotion; to have acted in violation of these rules; or to have acted in an unsportsmanlike or
disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Promotion
Parties and their agents are not responsible for any printing or technical error which may occur in
processing, printing or distribution of Promotion materials.
Disputes
Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any
prize awarded are governed by Arizona Administrative Code (“A.A.C.”) R19-3-1008. The decision of the
Arizona Lottery Director is a final, appealable agency action to the Office of Administrative Hearings
under the procedures of A.A.C. R19-2-101 through R19-2-122. Exhaustion of administrative remedies
applies.
Winner’s List
For the names of the winners, send a hand-printed, self-addressed stamped envelope to “Arizona
Lottery/Safeway Cardinals Caravan” Winners List, P.O. Box 888, Phoenix, AZ, 85001-0888. Requests for
a winners list must be received no later than June 15, 2013.
