Video isolation transformer VIT2 VIT3 VIT4 VIT5 GALVANIC ISOLATION BETWEEN INPUT AND OUTPUT Features FEATURES ELIMINATION OF NETWORK WHIZZING PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Description The VIT isolation transformator series eliminates network whizzing in standard 75Ω networks and common audio interference by interrupting the ground backloop. The most common type of interference in the ground backloop is 50Hz whizzing, noticeable as characteristic horizontal upward-moving lines on the video monitor. Ground backloops increase the sensitivity of signal circuits to crosstalk and interference from high-frequency sources. Once the interferences are present in the signal, they cannot be removed, as they occupy the low-frequency range of the video signal.
