Right Care Programme in West Essex
Presentation to the West Essex CCG Board
July 2016
Presented by Dr Angus Henderson and Chloe Atkinson
What is Right Care?
1. Helps health economies find where they have
low value healthcare.
2. Helps them replace that with high value
(optimal) healthcare.
• All CCG’s will be required to deliver service transformation
through this methodology from April 2017.
Value
We need as much as high value care and
as little low value care as possible.
OBJECTIVE - Maximise Value (individual & population)
