RELOCATION DIRECTOR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The primary function of this position is to manage the Regional Corporate Relocation Services Department. The scope of the position is to maintain clients and services for the department and to administer policies and procedures to deliver those services to support the needs of the clients. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: MANAGEMENT Administer Relocation Policies and Procedures. Manage incoming, affinity, and inventory programs Direct the activities of those within the department to include follow-up, progress toward stated objectives, and general performance Counsel with individual department members to facilitate communication and progress toward goals Direct hiring and terminating of department personnel Provide "back-up" assistance in the absence of department personnel Troubleshoot - assist with and attempt to resolve any relocation "concerns" between the department and the agents/managers. "Keep Staff Clean" TRAINING Assist Vice President with ongoing training for agent relocation certification Complete New Agent training in conjunction with the Training Center PUBLIC RELATIONS Represent Coldwell Banker Prime Properties, Inc. at relocation conferences, meetings and other relocation industry functions Entertain relocation visitors and promote the Coldwell Banker Prime Properties, Inc. image throughout the relocation industry in a professional and effective manner Provide support and leadership for national organizations such as ERC, Cendant Mobility, HomeSteps, Fannie Mae, etc. Interact with Managers and Agents regarding relocation matters on a continuing basis Create an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect among agents, managers, and the relocation department Relocation Director.doc - 11/13/02 REPORTING Ensure that branch managers and agents are receiving productivity reports on a regular basis QUALIFICATIONS Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrate marketing, leadership, and management abilities Sound human relation skills in managing performance of people Professional appearance Comfortable with public speaking EDUCATION Real Estate license College degree preferred Continuing education credits in relocation, marketing, and management EXPERIENCE Two to four years general real estate Additional two to four years in the relocation area with two of those years dealing with management responsibility RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Principal Brokers Senior Management Management Team Agents Department Managers and their staff Mortgage Company External: Relocation Management Companies Current and future clients Vendors Attorneys Related professional and community organizations ____________________________________ Name Submitted by Coldwell Banker Prime Properties Relocation Director.doc - 11/13/02 __________________ Date
