England Golf invite applications for the position of Administrator (Maternity Cover) Salary Band 2 (£13,600 – £18,400 + benefits) The Participation & Club Support team require an Administrator to cover Maternity leave. England Golf is the National Governing Body for Amateur Golf in England and is responsible for developing and promoting the amateur game of golf in England. England Golf launched its new strategy ‘Raising our Game’, designed to increase participation and club membership in 2014. The Participation & Club Support department look at ways of increasing and sustaining the number of people who play golf regularly, provide initiatives to increase the number of players in club membership and support Golf Clubs on areas relating to development, operations and marketing. The role of Administrator is very broad including the administration of Participation & Club Support initiatives as well as providing support to golf clubs and counties. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: Good communication skills Competence in the use of IT tools including spreadsheets, email and word processing Ability to work independently or as part of a team Good organisational skills Motivation and a desire to learn Knowledge of the game of golf is not essential. The post is a maternity cover position and full-time (Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm core hours).
