• To provide safe, effective ,evidenced
based care to women and families
• Facilitate birth choices
• Refer and sign post to other agencies
when required
• Deliver the Public Health agenda
• Engaging women and families to make

What we do
• Each woman has a named midwife.
• We aim to provide continuity of caregiver,
antenatal and postnatal period.
• Care is at GP surgeries, home settings,
children centers ‘drop ins’.
• Birth prep classes, day and evening.
• Home birth service, water birth pool
service. Support to the Midwife led Unit/
Acute unit
