Willich-Münchheide, January 8th, 2015 - ROHM Semiconductor expands the
European distribution agreement with Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente to a
worldwide franchise for the entire ROHM products portfolio.
Rutronik markets ROHM devices since 1999 with a at last dramatically double digit
sales growth. For the second time in a row, RUTRONIK has recently received the
award of the distributor with “Achievement in Highest Growth in Europe” at
electronica 2014.
The key products in the portfolio amongst others are Power devices such as SiC
diodes & SiC MOSFETs, Modules & Power Si MOSFETs, Power Management ICs &
motor/LED Driver ICs, Discrete/Opto & Passive components, general purpose ICs,
Audio & Video ICs as well as sensors, perfectly fitting Rutronik’s broadline concept
and addressing dynamic market segments. Thanks to its integrative set-up,
Rutronik is able to provide technical support for application development and
design-ins as well as individual supply chain management solutions and services

“The past years have proven the value of our partnership, hence the next natural
step to further support the growth’s strategy of both companies is the global
expansion of the franchise”, said Günter Richard, Sales Director Distribution at
ROHM. “With its established global footprint, logistic concepts and technical
expertise Rutronik is able to meet customers’ needs everywhere in the world.”
“We are pleased to expand our successful cooperation to leverage ROHM’s broad
