Substance Use Treatment, Education and Prevention as it
pertains to pharmacy”
Identify enhancements made to the states MassPAT
prescription monitoring program
Describe Massachusetts Board of Registration in pharmacy
requirement for developing procedures for validating
questionable prescriptions
Review various programs involving Naloxone dispensing
Review the pathophysiology of heart failure as it relates to
neurohormonal pathways
Identify pharmacotherapeutic treatment options for heart
failure (HF) and tailor use based upon individualized patient
characteristics
Adjust treatment plans for HF patients to improve morbidity
and mortality as well as reduce hospitalizations
List the common tools of Lean methodology used to evaluate

Apply Lean concepts to problem-solving and how this can be
