Offering of New Specializations in MBA Program:
To All Directors/ Principals/ Coordinators of MBA Colleges,
Gujarat Technological University offers four specializations (namely Marketing, Finance, HR and
IT) to the students of MBA through its affiliated institutes. Now onwards GTU will allow the
institutes to offer the new specialization, (excluding Marketing, Finance, HR and IT
specializations) with specialization fees of Rs. 50,000/- or @ Rs. 5,000 per student (whichever is
higher). It is hereby informed that no institute shall offer any new specialization if there are less
than 06 students opting the particular specializations. These norms shall be applicable from the
batch commencing from 2013.
GTU will continue to offer existing four specializations (namely Marketing, Finance, HR and IT)
without any specialization fees from the institutes.
