MOBILE MAPPING OF AIR AND GROUND INTELLIGENCE
COMMUNICATION - GROUND GATEWAY (MAGIC-G2)
The DRS Mobile Mapping of Air and Ground Intelligence
Communication - Ground Gateway (MAGIC-G2) is a
Situational Awareness (SA) radio suite that is able to
communicate through various data links while still
maintaining a light and lean quality for deployment.
MAGIC-G2 includes Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and Beyond
Line-Of-Sight (BLOS) radios controlled by a single laptop
loaded with an array of software to control the radios
and pass data to any network it’s connected to. Full
MAGIC-G2 functionality enables the deployed operator
to transmit/receive ground, Special Operations Forces
(SOF) and air locations, sensor points of interest, chat,
and video into any connected C2 network that needs SA
to reduce fratricide and shorten the kill chain.
MAGIC-G2 fills the gap between airborne and manportable capabilities offering complete interoperability
using a Government-developed, non-proprietary SAMS
Enhanced Situational Awareness (ESA) software suite.
MAGIC-G2 provides C2 nodes with complete mission
networking capability with increased situational
awareness and M2M targeting.
