A NEW ERA IN CYBERSECURITY PUBLIC SECTOR CYBERSECURITY SUMMIT 2015 1 - 2 December 2015 | Hyatt Regency Reston Event Information Website Ralph Echemendia World-renowned security expert and “The Ethical Hacker” Speaker Ralph Echemendia is a world-renowned security expert, known internationally by his alter ego “The Ethical Hacker,” who has taken his talents for hacking and used them to help inform various institutions as well as protect companies and celebrity names. Ralph has been a major component in the research and development of various key security technologies. His ability to work both freelance and in collaboration with other industry professionals has landed him appearances on CNN, Fox News, USA Today, and Forbes, to name a few. In addition to major news publications, Ralph has also taken his talents to Hollywood. He actively works with award-winning Director Oliver Stone as a technical supervisor responsible for digital security. He worked on films including 2012 Universal Pictures release of “Savages” and the upcoming release of “Snowden.” Ralph has also been primarily responsible for findings in numerous high profile entertainment leaks including the “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” investigation. In addition to his work with Oliver Stone, Ralph has joined forces with some of Hollywood’s most influential names to address various forms of operational security and piracy issues by working on cutting edge technology for consumer cyber security protection. Although he has partaken in a lot of behind the scenes work, Ralph has also been a featured speaker/panelist at events such as Austin’s SXSW, LA Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival. His jaw dropping “Hacking Hollywood” appearance has been presented at CAA, DEW Expo, Content Protection & Piracy Summit, as well as the Anti-Piracy and Content Protection Summit. Microsoft, Oracle, AMEX, Intel, Boeing, Symantec, and IBM. He has conducted security audits and penetration tests, while consulting for various organizations including United Nations, as well as hospitals and financial institutions. Previously, Ralph served as the Information Security Executive for Terremark Worldwide, which was acquired in early 2011 by Verizon Communications. Furthermore, for over 20 years, Ralph has delivered training on hacking and other security information to corporations including the US Marines Corps, NASA, Google, Event Information
