Short answer (5 pts each) * You may answer one of the two questions
26. After World War II how did Truman and Stalin’s views differ when it came to
expansion of territory?
27. In your own words, what does containment and domino theory mean in terms of the
Cold War?
I made these modifications on this test so they may have an equal advantage in a fair
grade. I say a fair grade in terms that a student with an “LD” can have the same opportunity in
having an equal grade. For the modifications I choose to eliminate one option in the multiple
choice section. This will help the students in finding the right answers among the options to
choose from. This is still fair to the other students because the students must still know the
material to come to the right answer. The second modification I gave to the students with a
learning disability was to allow them to choose to answer one of the two short answer questions.
This allows the students to answer the question they believe they have the most correct answer to
the question.
