Referring now to the drawings with greater particu
larity, there is shown in FIG. 1 ‘a lamp assembly 10
having a base plate 12 with socket means 14 af?xed
thereto. A ?uorescent bulb having the form of an in
verted “U” is mounted on base plate 12 and an incandes
