PNB Minor
To receive a minor in PNB students must take at least 15 credits of PNB classes at the 2000 level or higher,
including the following required core courses. Course substitutions for Group A or Group B core courses are
not permitted. University requirements include that a student must earn a C (2.0) grade or better in each of the
required courses for that minor. A maximum of 3 credits towards the minor may be transfer credits of courses
equivalent to University of Connecticut courses. Substitutions are not possible for required courses in a minor.
I. Core Courses: Complete Group A or Group B.
Group A: (8 credits)
 PNB 2274 (4) Enhanced Human Physiology and Anatomy I
 PNB 2275 (4) Enhanced Human Physiology and Anatomy II
(PNB 2274-2275 must be taken in sequence)
Group B: (11-13 credits)
 PNB 2250 (3) Animal Physiology
 PNB 3251 (3) Biology of the Brain
 PNB 3263WQ (3) Investigations in Neurobiology or  PNB 3264W (4) Molecular Principles of Physiology
 PNB 3262 (2) Mammalian Endocrinology or  PNB 3265 (3) Comparative Endocrinology
II. Electives: Additional PNB courses at the 2000 level and above to reach at least 15 credits in PNB (2000 level and above).
