Alexander Fleming Biomedical Sciences Research Center www.fleming.gr, 34 Fleming Street, Vari 16672, Greece Expression of Interest for Group Leader and Staff Scientist Positions The Biomedical Sciences Research Center "Alexander Fleming" is seeking independent researchers to establish their own laboratories, and Staff Scientists (ΕΛΕ) to lead and manage FLEMING’s research facilities/units. Independent Researcher positions will be available at the equivalent of assistant professor level (Researcher C) in the following areas: - Molecular and cellular mechanisms in inflammation, immunological diseases and cancer - Animal models of cognitive and neurodegenerative diseases Staff Scientist positions (level C) will be available for the following units, under the activities of the INFRAFRONTIER-GR (www.infrafrontier.gr) and ELIXIR-GR National Research Infrastructures: - Mouse transgenesis & genome manipulation - Bioimaging - Bioinformatics (Relevant to Genomics and Functional Genomics) Initial expressions of interest should be received at [email protected] before 1 March 2015 and must include a CV, a summary of scientific/technical achievements and a statement of research plans.
