We want to help you get the word out about Benchmark bridal jewelry in your local market, so we’re
making it easier than ever to attract buyers where you live.
When you place an ad or send out promotional material in your local market, Benchmark will match
your contribution dollar for dollar up to 10% of your previous year’s sales.
Before a retailer can receive co-op reimbursement from Benchmark, they
must meet the prerequisites for approval.
To begin, contact us at [email protected] or 205.345.0555 (ext 254) to ob-
1 tain one of our existing ad layouts. All retailers must use an existing Benchmark ad layout

to qualify (no modification other than added name, address, logo, etc. unless by the marketing department).
Prepare your promotional piece (ad, direct mail, billboard, etc.) so that it meets the necessary requirements for approval (see below). We will not co-op internet based advertising.
What qualifies your ad for Benchmark co-op?
The Benchmark logo must appear on the promotional piece. The Benchmark
ad must fill at least 70% of the total ad space. Designated space for your logo
must be used in order to qualify. (each creative has such a space set aside)
Benchmark product sample must appear exclusively. (Other product pieces
may appear, but no other wedding bands or engagement rings should be
included.)
Retailers must carry the product featured in the promotional piece as well as
use a current Benchmark ad layout.
3 Complete the “Benchmark co-op agreement” form and email it along with the finished
ad to [email protected] or fax it to 205.349.2254. If approved, we’ll fax back the
agreement signed.
4 After your approved promotional piece has been published, send us a copy of the produced piece showing publication name and time frame (ex. Spring 2015) (A full page of
the publication that contains the actual ad.) along with a copy of the invoice. Paying the
full invoice to your local provider will be your responsibility. We will credit your account
half the invoiced amount (up to 10% of your last calendar year’s sales) when we
receive the documentation. All co-op partnership must be approved before running in
local media to be eligible for reimbursement. For magazine ads we must receive full page
of ad and front cover of the magazine in order to qualify.
5 If you want to use available co-op dollars for your store catalogue or any other self-printed
material, co-op dollars are limited up to $1000 for such advertising up to available balance.
**Benchmark reserves the right to deny co-op credit if all prerequisites and procedures are not followed
