By-Law Number 3515-2016
BEING A BY-LAW TO AWARD THE SUPPLY OF ONE (1) HALF-TON PICKUP
TRUCK TO PERTH COUNTY CHRYSLER FOR USE BY THE COUNTY OF PERTH
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
April 7, 2016
WHEREAS Sections 8, 9 and 11 of the Municipal Act, 2001, authorizes Council to enter
into agreements for the purpose of purchasing;
AND WHEREAS the County of Perth deems it desirable to enter into a contract with
Perth County Chrysler to purchase one half-ton pick-up for use by the County of Perth
Public Works Department.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Perth hereby
enacts as follows:
1. THAT the expenditure of $26,267.00 +HST for the purchase of one half-ton pickup truck from Perth County Chrysler be authorized.
2. THAT the cost of purchasing the half-ton pick-up truck be funded through the
2016 Fleet Capital Budget.
3. THAT the Warden and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all documents
necessary on behalf of the County of Perth for the execution of this by-law.
4. THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect upon the final passing
thereof.

Read a third and finally passed this 7th day of April, 2016.
