SYLLABUS I. semester 1. week: Greeting forms, introduction, typological and general characteristics of the Hungarian language, the Hungarian alphabet (vowel harmony), phonetical exercises (phonetical exercises related to some dental expressions) 2. week: Countries (colours), nationalities, introduction, occupations names related to dentistry, conjugation of the verb „to be” and its use in singular; Hungarian sentencestructure, definite articles, verbs 3. week: Numbers (use of plural), time (season, month, day, hour), date (the patients birthday), when? / at what time? 4. week: Phonenumber, s/’s/as/es/ös affixes; the numbering system of the teeth 5. week: Foods, drinks; buying (in the store, in the restaurant, in the buffet); the use of the accusative, verbs 6. week: Foods, drinks; oral hygiene (harmful foods, drinks); adjectives (cold, warm .....); the sensitivity of the teeth (to ....) 7. week: Revision, 1st test 8. week: Places (general, places related to the everyday life) ; directions: where? (in ....), postpositions 9. week: Places (dental office, clinics, different dental departments). Directions: where from? where to? (revision), verbs 10. week: The use of place related suffixes in dentistry (where does is hurt? Where does the pain radiate?
