GODS AND GODDESSES TABOO
Instructions
1. Divide class into two teams.
2. Cards are face down.
3. One student goes first, attempts to get teammates to guess bolded keyword without saying
either that word or the other words on the card. Team tries to guess as many bolded words as
possible in allotted time (1 minute).
4. If the student says the bolded word or another word on the card, a member of the opposing
team, who is also looking at the card, rings the bell and the student must move to another card.
5. After one minute, total up number of keywords correctly guessed. Each word = 1 point.
6. Teams alternate, each students gets chance to elicit guesses.
Materials needed:
taboo cards, hotel bell, whiteboard and marker to keep score
