STATISTICAL OFFICE IN WARSAW 1 Sierpnia 21, 02-134 Warszawa Prepared on: 12.01.2016 Brief information Contact: e-mail:[email protected] tel.: 22 464 23 15; fax 22 846 76 67 Internet: warszawa.stat.gov.pl PRELIMINARY ESTIMATE OF GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT IN MAZOWIECKIE VOIVODSHIP IN 2014 When publishing Statistical Office data please indicate the source. Presented data are preliminary and will be subject to revision due to revision policy applied in national and regional accounts. Final data for 2014 will be published in October 2016. Data were compiled according to the principles of the “European System of Account (ESA 2010)”, introduced by Regulation No. 549/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) of 21 V 2013 on the European system of national and regional accounts in the European Union (Official Journal of the EU L 174, 26.06. 2013). Adopted methods of regionalisation in principle do not differ from the ones used in elaboration of final data on gross domestic product and its elements in the regional perspective. Differences result from using in the preliminary estimate certain methodological simplifications, stemming from the limited availability of sources of data for some groups of entities of the national economy. Methodological notes concerning basic concepts and methods of data compilation might be found in publication “Gross Domestic Product – Regional Accounts in 2013”, Katowice 2015. * * * Mazowieckie voivodship is the region which generates the largest share of the gross domestic product (GDP), illustrating the final result of the activity of all entities of national economy.
