Government of te United Silates of America and the International Bank for Reconstruction
and Development concerning tf e Trust Fund for the Strategic Climate Fund
(MTO No. 069011) (the "Fiftb Amen Iment")

We refer to the Contribution Agreement between the Government of the United States of
America (the "Contributor") and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the
"IBRI') as trustee (the "Trustee" I of the t rust fund for the Strategic Climate Fund (the "SCF") (MTO No.
069012) (the "Trust Fund") dated \4a-ch I, 2010, as amended (the "Contribution Agreement").
We are pleased to acknow led ge, cn behalf of the Trustee, the intention of the Contributor to make

a fifth additional contribution to the Trust Fund in the amount of forty-seven million three hundred
sevent>-three thousan seven hunclrd s xty-three United States dollars (USD 47,373,763) as a grant
contribation to the Trust Fund (the 'Fift i Additional Grant Contribution"). With this Fifth Additional
Grant Contribution, t to:al amount alloc ited by the Contributor to this Trust Fund will now aggregate to
two hundred for-se en million one hur dred seventy-three thousand seven hundred sixty-three United
States dollars (USD 2 7,l 73,763) (the "Contribution").

Pursuant to paragraph 3.2 of the SCF Standard Provisions, the Contributor designates that the
Fifth Additional Grant Coritribution siall >e allocated as follows:
(a)
Eleven million eighl hui dred forty-three thousand four hundred forty United States
dollars and seveniy-f ve cnts (USD 11,843,440.75) to the Forest Investment Program;
(b)
Twenty-three millior six hundred eighty-six thousand eight hundred eighty-one United
State do lars and fifty cents (USD 23,686,881.50) to the Pilot Program for Climate
Resilience; and
(c)
Eleven million eigh: hu idred forty-three thousand four hundred forty United States
dollars and seveaty-five cents (USD 11,843,440.75) to the Program on Scaling-up
Renewable Energv in Lo%-income Countries.
The Contributor shall de:)os t th Fifth Additional Grant Contribution into such bank account

designted by the Trustee proriptly fillowing countersignature of this Fifth Amendment by the
Contri:utor and submissicn of a payment -equest by the Trustee.

When making the deposit, tho Co itributor shall instruct its bank to include in its payment details

inform,ation (remittan e advice) field of it; SWIFT payment message, information indicating: the amount
paid, that the payment is made by the Contributor for MTO No. 069012 (Strategic Climate Fund), and the
date of the deposit.

All other terms of the Cor tritutioii Agreement shall remain the same.
The IBRD w 11disclose i:his Fifi h Amendment and related information on this Trust Fund in

accordance with thel World Bank Poli:y on Access to Information. By entering into this Fifth
Amendment, the Coniributor coments to lisclosure of this Fifth Amendment and related information on
this Trust Fund.

Please confir your underst indiiig to the foregoing, on behalf of the Contributor, by signing,
dating., and returning to us one of the en losed originals of this Fifth Amendment. Upon receipt by the
Trustee of the original of this Fifth Ame idment countersigned by you, the Contribution Agreement, as
amended by this Fifth Amendmenm, will b -come effective as of the date of the countersignature.
