NEEDS STATEMENT The need for the conference was determined from examining the topics published in the recent scientific literature. Participants in the course will learn the most current concepts and practical tips for clinical practice in the following areas: Cataract, Cornea, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Ocular Oncology, Oculoplastics, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Retinal Disease. OBJECTIVES As a result of attending this program, participants will learn to: Manage basic oculoplastic issues. Manage pediatric ophthalmic disorders better. Recognize and treat common neuro-ophthalmic problems better. Learn what neuroimaging tests to order. Select the proper refractive surgical procedure. Recommend current wet macular degeneration therapies. Diagnose and manage many different forms of glaucoma. Manage glaucoma surgical issues. Perform and manage cataract surgery patients better.
