Algebra – formulae and number sequences, algebra problems, linear equations and alternative solutions.
Geometry – drawing and naming circles, circle patterns, connecting midpoints, using coordinates to locate
shapes, plotting shapes in the 4 quadrants, translation and reflection.
Fractions – factors and multiples, adding and subtracting, fraction multiplication and division problems.
Link with percentages and decimals finding equivalents.
Measurement – converting units, volume of cubes and cuboids.
Ratio and proportion – scale factor and ratio problems.
Statistics – pie charts, carrying out a survey and finding the mean.

Light:
Set up an investigation to show that light travels in straight lines.
