Brief Course Description
The course aims to discuss the details of some topics in electricity and magnetism
such as: Electric fields and their applications, capacitance and dielectrics, current and
electric circuits, Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s law, magnetic fields and their applications
and magnetic induction.

Course Objectives
1- Study the basics of electricity and magnetism and their applications.
2- Explanation of some phenomena included in the fields of electricity and
magnetism
3- Acquirement of some experimental skills in the field of electricity and
magnetism

 Electric charge and Coulomb’s law
 Electric field and Gauss’s law
 Electric potential and capacity, dielectrics
 Electrical circuits and Kirchhoff’s law
 Magnetic fields and their applications
 Magnetic induction
