ENGLISH (EN) ROTARY SEEKS EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS: SOUTH AMERICA The Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers provides assistance and technical expertise to Rotarians planning and implementing projects, ensures the proper stewardship of Foundation grant funds, and assists Foundation trustees in the funding process. The cadre is currently seeking Rotarians, especially women and Spanish and Portuguese speakers, who live in South America and are experienced professionals in these fields: WATER AND SANITATION Planning and development of life skillsbased hygiene education Water resource management Water quality analysis and treatment Solid waste or wastewater management Survey, design, and construction of water supply, water treatment, or sanitation systems MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH DISEASE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Obstetrics and gynecology Communicable and infectious disease control Pediatrics Facility-based and mobile health care equipment and technology Small enterprise: local business, cooperatives, social enterprise, and income-generating activities including access to markets Nursing and midwifery education and training Prenatal, neonatal, and newborn care Sexual and reproductive health Clinical nutrition International public health development Physical disabilities, rehabilitation and physical therapy, spectral disorders (Portuguese speakers needed) Mental health, suicide prevention, treatment of substance abuse and depression For more information or to join the cadre, write to [email protected].
