WHAT DOES KUJENGA MEANS?
 Kujenga is the Swahili word to Build.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE WEEKEND?
 The Kujenga weekend is designed as an intensive experience of leadership training with a focus on evangelizing peers.
THE GOALS OF KUJENGA ARE:
 To emphasize the importance of a Christ-centered life in moral and ethical development
To teach the history and traditions of Catholics of African descent in the Universal Church
To promote higher education; and to explore career opportunies
THE PROGRAM:

Prayer Services, Workshops, Family Group discussions, a Rite of Passage Ceremony for High School
Graduates of 2015, a BBQ & Talent Show
THE AGE:
 14 - 18 years
THE COST:

$200.00, by May 30th and after deadline the cost will be $250.00 includes roundtrip Transportation, Room, Meals,
Workshops and the 25th Anniversary Dinner. A $50.00 deposit is required.
