Mark J. Mannis, M.D. Clinical/Research Interests Dr. Mannis, Professor and Chair of the UC Davis Eye Center, specializes in corneal transplantation and external diseases of the eye. His research has included development of antimicrobial agents and growth factors that affect the corneal wound healing, skin diseases that affect the eye, and outcomes of corneal transplantation and the artificial cornea. Dr. Mannis has authored over 125 publications and five books on topics relating to corneal surgery and disease.
