Store the devices in their original packing. +55o C -40o C prolonged storage Exceptionally if the device is delivered separately from an MCset FU and for prolonged storage, the device must remain in its original packing. Following prolonged storage, all insulating parts must be thoroughly cleaned prior to use. The enclosure will be dedusted using a clean, dry cloth. unpacking and handling Exceptionally when the device is delivered separately from an MCset 1 FU. H unpack the equipment on the site of installation H avoid impacts Once you have unpacked the device, handle it by lifting or rolling. preparation handling by lifting Sling up the device using the lifting lugs and place it on the ground. Unhook the slings and remove the handling parts and their screws. NB: the rings and screws must be kept for future use. handling by rolling The device is handled using the moving part extraction tool on a smooth floor. Mark and disconnect the wiring. Disconnect the earth circuit. Remove the VT fastening. Remove the screws and the spacers. Release the screws. Lift the VT and remove it. 17 Remove the VT connection plates and keep them for reassembly. fitting 140 Preparation Fit and lock the plates on the VT... ...complying with mounting direction and the 140 mm dimension. Tightening torque: 13 Nm. Proceed in reverse order. And comply with screw position. H Fitting the VT 18 lock the fixing screws in place. Nominal supply voltage insufficient (less than 85%) on current inrush H restore voltage to its nominal value. Protection fuse blowing. H eliminate the fault. Incorrect connection of the electro coils on replacement. Rectifier for AC current source H contactor opening impossible (with latching mechanism) Shunt release. No voltage at release terminals. H check circuit to restore supply (and auxiliary contact). Coil damaged H replace the release Release misadjusted H review position adjustment Auxiliary contactors damaged H replace the contacts. pumping movements the device does not remain closed LV supply source. Supply voltage insufficient (less than 90% of nominal voltage) on current inrush H restore voltage to its nominal value. Release of contactor (with latching mechanism) Release energised. H see release excitation cause. Incorrect connection of the electro coils on replacement H abnormal temperature rise of the closing coils Energy source. Supply voltage in excess of 110 % of nominal voltage. H restore voltage to its nominal value.
