prolonged storage
Exceptionally if the device is
delivered separately from an
MCset FU and for prolonged
storage, the device must remain
in its original packing.
Following prolonged storage,
all insulating parts must be
thoroughly cleaned prior to use.
The enclosure will be dedusted
using a clean, dry cloth.
unpacking and handling
Exceptionally when the device
is delivered separately from
an MCset 1 FU.
H unpack the equipment
on the site of installation
H avoid impacts
Once you have unpacked the
device, handle it by lifting or
rolling.
preparation
handling by lifting
Sling up the device using the lifting
lugs and place it on the ground.
Unhook the slings and remove the
handling parts and their screws.
NB: the rings and screws must be
kept for future use.
handling by rolling
The device is handled using the
moving part extraction tool on a
smooth floor. It is handled by the
front face.

safety instructions
general rules
All the operations described below
must be carried out according to
prevailing safety standards, under
the responsibility of a competent
authority.
Caution!
Before all operations:
H open the contactor and isolate it
from the network.
H cut the power supply to the
auxiliary circuits and to the main
circuit.
Our equipment is designed
to guarantee optimum operation
provided that the maintenance
operations described in the foloĆ
wing documents are complied
with:
Extract the contactor from the
cubicle.
( see MCset 1-2-3 user manual)
H place the device on a support at
working height to perform the
maintenance operation.

replacement operation.
The operations mentioned
in the summarising table below
can be performed by the customer
or by the After-Sales representatives
of the Schneider group.
For all other operations,
contact your nearest Schneider
group representatives.
After each operation, carry out
the electrical tests as per
prevailing standards.
