CL100 WATER BASED CROSS-LINKER
CL100 is a water-soluble, ZERO VOC Cross-Linker for use in all Target Coatings water based wood
finishes.
CL100 offers extended pot-life and resin/catalyst reactivity compared to traditional acid catalysts.
CL100 remains active in water-soluble resin solutions upwards to 10 days after initial induction. Post-cat
gelling and hardening is unlikely as long as cross-linked material is stored in a sealed container or
pressurized fluid handling system.

Method of Use:
Measure 2-5% by liquid volume of CL100 per the amount of water-based coating to be catalyzed. Refer to
chart for starting point measurements.

Gently stir the selected water-based coating while slowly adding the pre-measured CL100 into the coating.
Continue to gently stir the cross-linker/coating mixture for 5 minutes. Allow the cross-linker/coating to react
for a minimum of 30 minutes before using. For best results premix cross-linker/coating 2-4 hours before
applying. This will ensure optimum catalyst reaction time and flow/levelling performance of the coating
during spray or brush applications.
