6th Grade Summer Math Packet
This packet is designed to be a review of essential math skills. It includes problems
covering math concepts and skills that are necessary for success in 6th grade math.
This packet is to be completed before the first day of school. Please bring this to Mrs.
White’s Math class on the first Friday of the school year, as this will be your first grade of
the school year.
Please do not use calculators on any part of this packet.
Show ALL work.
All work must be done in pencil and must be legible.
Do not wait until the last minute to complete this packet and do not try to complete this all
at one time. Pace yourself!
Timed math drills covering addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts are part
of our work in 6th grade Math. Reviewing multiplication facts through 12 and completing
online math drills are great ways to prepare for our class. Please review adding and
subtracting fractions thoroughly before we begin school in August.
Go to the 6th grade Math blog for additional Math review and links to practice timed tests.
The blog address is www.gwamath-mrswhite.blogspot.com.
Thank you,
