Dana went down 7
#s on her BMI, down
5% Body Fat, and 26.5
pounds of just fat. Her
total weight loss is 45.5
pounds. Dana now has a
healthy BMI and weight
but still comes to SOGA
CMWL every 2-3 weeks
to stay on track.
How she did it:
Dana has followed the SOGA Center for Medical
Weight Loss Modified Program for over a year.
Dana exercises regularly, keeps track of her calories
online and makes sure on Sundays she is prepared
for the week with her healthy snacks and meals.
Through this journey Dana has traveled to all of
her daughters’ college volleyball games and made
sure to still keep her social life the same while on
the plan. She now makes healthier and smarter
choices in her busy life. She is a true inspiration to
all us busy moms.

of January 2016 to
start her journey. She
started the Quickstart
on February 3rd and
is now doing the Modified Program at CMWL.
Deborah is now 70.5 pounds lighter!
On the CMWL program, she also lost 12#s off her
BMI, 46.5 lbs of Fat Mass, 11.3 % Body Fat and 29
lbs off her waist line. She continues on the Modified
Program.

Cassie Scott came to us at the end of January and
in her 1st 6 weeks she lost 12.5 lbs. When she took
this picture in April she had already lost over 22 lbs.
She has now lost: 55 lbs, 9#s off her BMI, 9.7% BF,
40 lbs of Fat Mass just on her Torso alone has lost
25.2 lbs. and GAINED, yes I said GAINED, 1.5 lbs
of MUSCLE !!
Not only has she lost weight but there is more. On her very
1st meeting she said she was a 6 out of 10 on motivation to
lose weight. She said she drank 0 glasses of water a day.
She also said she did nothing for exercise and one of
her goals was to feel better so that she could be more
active with her kids.
After asking her these questions again, she obviously
had different answers. Through this whole process
Cassie has been a 10 in dedication to this program.
She now exercises every other day She drinks 110120 ounces of water a day. The best part is she is
way more active with her kids and her son LOVES
going on walks and doing other exercising activities with
her. Cassie has come so far and we are so proud of her.
Wanted to share
another update on
one of our patients
that has been seeing
us since Feb. 2016.
Ginger Davis has
lost a total of 81.2 lbs
in 6 months on the
SOGA CMWL program. She has since moved to
Oklahoma and we miss her tons. She is still following the program in Oklahoma and still sends us updates on her progress and if she needs any questions
answered we are always there to help. She has lost
27 pounds since moving, still sticking to the CMWL
program. Her last update and comment was: “I was
squeezing myself into a size 18 in February 2016,
(I probably should have been in a 20 or sz 22) but
now I’m in a COMFORTABLE Size 10!!” The last
picture of her was taken August 7th and now Ginger is
at a total weight loss of 108.5 lbs.!!

How it works:
Once you express an interest in SOGA Center for
Medical Weight Loss via phone, Facebook or
email, you will have an initial consultation with
a CMWL counselor. Your CMWL Counselor
will learn all about your current weight loss goals
and other factors such as individual body composition, and personal motivations that make
you different from everyone else.
From there your CMWL Counselor will give
you an order for blood work. After your blood
work is complete you will return in about 1 week
and meet with a Doctor, who will discuss your
lab work and your medications. The Doctor and
Counselor will then assign you to one of the
three CMWL weight loss programs.

Kelly Perez (daughter) joined the CMWL program
in late May. Kelly has dropped 12#s on her BMI,
42 lbs of Body Fat, 20 lbs of water weight, went
up 4% on her water percent (based on her water
intake), lost 31.4 lbs off her Torso, dropped 8.9%
Body Fat and lost a total of 62.5 POUNDS!
Kim Holtmann (mother) shortly followed her in
joining the program. Kim has also dopped 13#s
on her BMI, 56 lbs of Body Fat, 24.5 lbs of water
weight, went up 3.5% on her water percent, lost
34.9 lbs off her Torso, dropped 6.7% Body Fat and
has lost a total of 100 POUNDS!
Kim and Kelly are both currently on the Modified
SOGA CMWL Program and together they have
lost a combined total of 162.5 pounds!
CMWL QuickStart:
A two-six week plan that includes one-onone visits with your CMWL counselor and a
high-nutrition calorie-controlled food plan.
LCD or Modified LCD:
The Low Calorie Diet (LCD) is a high-nutrition
calorie-controlled plan your doctor and counselor
will prescribe for you and monitor closely.
The Modified LCD plan is the same plan but
your evening meal may contain more calories.
Healthy Eating Plan:
This calorie-controlled plan your doctor and
counselor will prescribe for you and monitor
closely using many different calorie counting
tools. This will help teach you to better understand
how to read food labels, count calories, eat
healthy foods out to eat while still helping you
to lose or maintain your current weight.
