Hunting and fishing

ll Egyptians liked hunting a lot and also the fishing, much of egyptians
must do it and some ones only do it for fun:
Pharaoh´s: only for fun
Priests: only for fun
Soldiers: only for fun but only in special days
Peasants: they must do it for live
Slaves: they only do it when there owner go and want to take them to help
In generally it was very dangerous for all the people and more for the poor
people because they can´t have protection, for example the armour, because when
you want to hunt a big animal you usually have to be near it and it can attack to the
person. Well, to be a little bit “safe” you have to have quite money for having the
proper attire and more posibilities of survive.
Hunting
All Egyptians liked hunting. It
was one of the few diversions at the
time that was available for everyone,
the farmers who hunt for eating and no
for fun taught their sons about who to
hunt well for after, when they were
adults could have the food more easily.
Hunting in the Nile

animals in his free time, he sometimes

Fishing

To fish in the river they
usually used a net also made of
braided papyrus strung between
two boats. When the boats returned
to the port, they pulled the network
to retrieve the fishes. The Egyptians
kept fish in several ways: they open
it, the emptied and smoked over a
fire or dried it at the sunlight.
Fishing in the Nile
Many fishermen disappeared while they were working, because could not
always avoid seeing his boat overturned by a hippo or a crocodile, two of the most
dangerous animals that you can found when you were fishing. Only the most brave
people aventure to fight with them, because apart of be a very good piece of hunting
you also be acclaime.
