The Acute Rehabilitation Unit is an inpatient
rehabilitation unit for patients meeting the
following criteria:
• Need for rehabilitation services on an acute
basis
• Ability and willingness to participate in a rehab
program three non-consecutive hours per day.
• Social support system
• Medically stable
• Must need at least two of these services:
•Physical therapy
•Occupational therapy
•Speech-language pathology

atmosphere for short-term rehabilitation for
patients meeting these qualifications:
• 3 consecutive overnights in acute hospital
within past 30 days
• Services ordered by physician
• Willingness to participate in rehab 1-2 hrs/day:
5-6 days a week, at least one therapy discipline
of PT, OT, or Speech.
• Medicare Part A (Hospital) benefit and
available days to use or commercial insurance
with skilled benefits.
