Clinical signs included:

eleven juvenile alligators
began showing the same
symptoms acutely
These were brought to
UF for clinical workup,
euthanasia and necropsy

Has been shown to cause septicemia with
heterophilic meningoencephalitis, pneumonia,
hepatitis and splenitis
