Write the definitions in your Writing Journal. Study the definitions and spelling of these words. Come prepared on Tuesday to discuss these definitions. Day 2 (Tuesday, 10/11): Write sentences using the words. Use 1 word per sentence (10 sentences total). Make sure the meaning of the word is clear by the context of the sentence. Underline the vocabulary word in each sentence. Study the definitions and spelling of these words. Come prepared to share your sentences on Wednesday. Days 3 (Wednesday, 10/12): Choose 3 words and draw small (all three should fit on 1 page) pictures depicting the meaning of these words. Color the pictures with colored pencil or crayon only. Study the definitions and spelling of these words. Come prepared to turn in your Writing Journal on Thursday. An assessment for the Root Word: graph word definitions and spelling will be on Friday, 10/14.
