Containers should be no
larger than 32 gallons and
no heavier than 50 lbs.
Materials must be able to be
handled by human power.

Place yard waste along the curb on your day of service
and be sure to keep 3 ft. from your carts, mailbox, parked
cars, fences, water meter, telephone connection box, etc.
to prevent damage. Do not place under low hanging tree
limbs or power lines.

SEASONAL YARD WASTE INITIATIVES
Stack the yard waste along the curb in a single
row, no longer than 10 ft.
Participate in our Treecycling Program to
recycle your real Christmas tree free of charge,
collection period will take place in January!

Bundles may be tied with string or twine into
manageable bundles.
Yard waste placed in plastic bags will be
considered trash and will count as your extra
garbage, or left uncollected. Augusta Solid Waste
can collect for an additional fee.
