A Butterfly life has four parts. First a butterfly lays many eggs. Next, a Larva or caterpillar will hatch from an egg. 14. Soon the caterpillar will turn into a pupa or chrysalis, which is a hard sack. Inside this hard pupa, the caterpillar will change into a butterfly. 16. When a butterfly comes out of the pupa, its wings are wet. It will hang upside down until its wings are dry. Then it will fly away to find a flower. 18. Butterflies fly from one flower to another flower. They drink the nectar, or sweet liquid in flowers. 20. Butterflies are pretty to watch and are helpful too.
