Vocabulary
Parallel Lines­ two lines that do not meet and are in the same plane
Skew lines­ two lines that do not meet and are not in the same plane
Parallel planes­ two planes that do not intersect
Transversal­ a line that intersects two or more coplanar lines at different points
Corresponding angles­ angles that have the same positions
Alternate interior angles­ two angles that lie between two lines and are on opposite sides of the transversal
Alternate exterior angles­ two angles that lie on the outside of two lines on the opposite sides of the transversal
Consecutive interior angles­ two angles that lie between lines on the same side of the transversal
