STUDENT SUPPLY LIST
Second Grade
The following items are required for 2nd grade.
Please send to school ONLY the items indicated below.
Due to limited space, NO BINDERS PLEASE.
Please label ALL supplies with students First Name & Last Initial
o 8 pencils - #2 lead pencils w/ pencil top erasers for each, 100% wood,
SHARPENED, plain yellow pencils only (Ticonderoga is the best
brand). Please no character or fancy designed ones; the coating on
the outside ruins the pencil sharpener.
o Large pencil eraser (Pink Pearl or Pink Pet is best)
o 1 – 12 inch ruler with inches and centimeter markings. Please no bendy,
collapsible, soft, or hinged rulers.
o 1 set each of addition/subtraction flashcards (can be found @ Dollar
Tree or Target)
o 1 of each – single subject, spiral bound/composition notebook, wideruled
o 1 set Crayola washable markers (8 count in standard colors, wide or
fine tip)
o Box of Crayola brand crayons (16-24 count)
o 1 9x13 metal pan (think brownie pan) for storing supplies
o 1 pair scissors (Fiskar’s brand with metal blades)
o 1 folders with pockets (must be able to stand up on desk freely)
o 2 large boxes of Kleenex
o 4 glue sticks (Elmer’s is best – no liquid glue please)
o 1 8oz bottle of hand sanitizer
o Bible NKJV or Parent Preference
o 1 back pack and lunch box clearly marked with name
PLEASE NOTE: Your child MUST wear tennis shoes for P.E. for his/her safety. If your child
wears another style of shoes to school, he/she MUST bring tennis shoes for P.E. Without them,
the student will sit out of P.E. and will receive a “0” grade for the day.
