Demonstrate knowledge of the origin, characteristics, and
classification of minerals, soil types, and rocks.

Analyze the processes of physical and chemical weathering and
erosion.

Apply knowledge of the processes of sediment transport and
deposition in aquatic and terrestrial environments.
